Meowchine Learning with High Resolution Meme Images & Large Meowdels

“Cats were curious; cats always had fun and always felt more like explorers than humans; cats are thus born talented to be sciencats.”

– Dr. Zeta  (MD-PhD) Himalayan Neurosciencat

Dr.Zeta M.D. – Ph. D

About Dr.Zeta

Dr. Zeta earned his M.D.- PhD degree from Meowshacussates Institute of Technology (MIT) School of Human Therapy (SHT). He was a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Paws at Catech and subsequently an assistant meofessor in the Catech Section of Head-Butts. He became a permanent Investigator in Lingdang’s Room in September 2023. Dr. Zeta is interested in the relationship of domestic cats and their litter box cleaners. His studies on “How to Effectively Wake Humans Up At 3 a.m. Just For Treats.” have contributed to the general fields of cat right movements.

About MIT

The Meowshacussates Institution of Technology School of Therapy was founded in 7500 BC, around 9,500 years ago, as the first domestic cat research center in the world.

Research Focus

Lingdang’s scholarly concerns are primarily focused on how cells are connected to one another and interact with their surrounding environment to form functional networks. Lingdang is consistently engaged with the intersections of computing systems and genetic tools to assist neuron reconstruction from high-resolution images. While Lingdang’s interests are vast, her work focuses in particular on analyzing neural state space alignments from FIB-SEM images and massive datasets and developing a computational infrastructure model of the nervous system. These projects have opened her eyes to a broad range of research in computational neuroscience and made her particularly interested in cellular visualization and the building of interactive models. Lingdang has enjoyed being able to reassemble brain slices computationally to obtain a three-dimensional architecture of cells in the brain and connections between them. She is open to trying new ideas as well.

About Lingdang

Lingdang is a part-time self-employed cat sitter in Human Training Institution (HTI) school of Cat Feeding (SCF). Outside of the lab, Lingdang is a dedicated cat lover, a big eater, and an avocado hater.

Beta the cat Pharm.D.

About Beta

PhD Candidate, University of Catifornia, Barkeley

Beta was particularly interested in the concentration of understanding the Human-Cat Interaction (HCI) system from both a computational perspective and a genetic standpoint. In particular, she has worked on the topic of the feline vocal communication system by analyzing massive datasets and developing a computational infrastructure model for the topology underlying neural architecture of the cats’ brain. Outside the lab, Beta is a casual purrer and an eager lap sleeper. Beta also completed her PetCAT and MyCAT with scores placed her in the 99th percentile of all test takers.
